Great bank, don't overlook!

Posted by: RylieV | Mar 5, 2015

When I first moved to a new city, Community Bank N.A. (then known as Liberty Bank) was the nearest to my apartment. I was surprised to find out that they also had a location in the middle of the shopping area I frequent most often, and a branch in my very small town, as well! The customer service representative was extremely helpful and sweet during the whole process, and wanted to see me get the most out of my account. Since then, every representative and teller has been equally great to talk to. They make all the processes rather simple and have never given me any run-around. On top of that, they offer totally free checking, which is fantastic for a low-budget full time student like me. When I moved to another town to transfer colleges, I was severely disappointed when I learned that they didn't have a location within an hour of the town, and tried several other banks, only to find them riddled with fees and nonsense that made me decide to just deal with the occasional long drive to deposit cash in return for the great services they offer. Once they rolled out mobile banking, this was no longer an issue, and I have never had a problem depositing checks or using their mobile app, although it's a bit rudimentary (they have made numerous upgrades to it recently). My only complaint about the bank is that the process to link mobile check deposit to my phone absolutely required showing up in person at a branch lobby to sign a form, when I needed to immediately make a deposit to pay a bill and my class times interfered with my ability to get there. However, it was still a very simple process. I have absolutely no desire to go elsewhere for banking. Don't overlook this small bank!
